High Clover!

Today we went to see the Oceans Exhibit and walk on the beach; where we saw a bald eagle and another eagle family in their nest. It's fun to watch the float planes take off on Beluga Lake too. It was a beautiful day in Homer, Alaska!

Homer, Alaska

The fishermen in the Rv spot next to us have promised us halibut for dinner tomorrow night.................I hope I get some!

Salmon in Soldotna

This is Les and me....Les caught the biggest salmon in these parts. I wish you could see the Kenai River, it is the prettiest blue. Just like my eyes.

King of the rock

On our way to Palmer to see the Musk Ox and Raindeer, we stopped for the night beside this lake. We think it was Long Lake. We met some nice people who invited us join their campfire. I might take up rock climbing. I've been watching the moutain goats as we ride thru the mountains.......I bet I can do that!

Fishwheels on the Copper River

This is near the town of Chitina on the Copper River where the best tasting salmon are swimming by! We camped right on the banks of the river in the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Preserve, which is 6 times larger than Yellowstone National Park!

Halibut

William da Duck and I think we are way better looking than halibut! Thank goodness the fisherpersons weren't looking for us. We heard the winner of the fishing derby last year brought in a 330 pounder! Our 'people' said the salmon and halibut was real tasty.

Life is good!

My Birthday was on the 4th of July. William da Duck gave me a new frisbee......I love frisbees! I'm 11 years old now. I have to take my vitamins, so I can run and catch my new frisbee.

Cruising Valdez

On July 1 they cruised the sound.

On July 1 we cruised the town.

I can't bear it!

"My People' haven't seen a bear in Alaska yet and so I found one for them! They aren't really convinced tho. This is the Prince William Sound Community College bear in Valdez, Alaska.
